Ox-Bow is a 99-year old school of art and artists' residency, located in Saugatuck, MI and affiliated with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Ox-Bow offers one and two week residencies for emerging and professional artists from June-August, alongside a rigorous academic and studio program. We offer one and two-week intensives for graduate and undergraduate students in a variety of studio areas-- from the experimental to the traditional or the craft-based. Ox-Bow curates a community of engaged makers and thinkers to offer its artists the opportunity to re-imagine their own studio practice, whether through a residency on campus, an exploration of a new material, through a unique one-on-one relationship with faculty members, ...

Labor K1 is accepting new suggestions for a worthy representative of its traveling goblet until March 20th 2009.
K1 awards artists or artist groups for successful collaborations on projects or unique working methods with its traveling goblet.The goblet will remain at the artist's house for a time period of 6 months. After that the goblet will be traveling to its next destination
Please send a short information about the artist (1 sentence) and the artist's contact to post@labor-k1.de.We'd like to know (maximum 3 sentences) why you consider the artist's working methods as outstanding.
The jury will discuss the submissions on March 25th, 2009. The suggested artists will be informed about the jury's s decision shortly after that.

In der aktuellen Ausschreibung der geförderten Ateliers und Atelierwohnungen werden drei Ateliers und drei Atelierwohnungen für Bildende Künstlerinnen und Künstler ausgeschrieben. Die Ateliers befinden sich in Kreuzberg (1) und Mitte (2). Die Atelierwohnungen befinden sich in Prenzlauer Berg (2) und Friedrichshain (1).
