Flax Art - FLAX INTERNATIONAL RESIDENCY
The Flaxart International Residency Programme is open to all artists living outside Ireland and beyond the United Kingdom. Over the past ten years, we have hosted artists from Europe, Asia, America and Australia. We offer three 2 month residencies at our studio complex in the heart of Belfast.
The upcoming residency programme runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 Successful applicants receive a studio, accommodation and a £500.00 monthly stipend for materials. Residents also have access to the Flaxart industrial-scale workshop, computer suite, video and audio equipment and the wireless broadband internet service (WI-FI). Artists can use the time to research and/or create new work stimulated by their experience of Belfast.
We particularly welcome artists who are prepared to connect broadly with the debates emerging from the post-conflict aspect of the city.

aceartinc. is dedicated to cultural diversity in its programming and to
this end encourages applications from contemporary artists and curators
identifying as members of GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered),
Aboriginal (status, non-status, Inuit and Metis) and all other culturally
diverse communities. aceartinc. encourages proposals from individuals,
groups and collectives in all visual arts media.

Künstlerhäuser Worpswede - Residencies

Applications for the 2010 residencies in the fields of fine arts and sound art for a duration of up to 6 months are requested as of now.
The grant is supported by the state of Lower Saxony through the award of a monthly grant of 1.400 Euros. A restriction concerning age or nationality does not exist.
Selection is made by a specialised jury in the fine arts and sound art respectively.

All applicants must be resident in Turkey, and if they are not nationals of Turkey, they must have a valid residence permit. A good command of English and other relevant languages of the place of residence are required.

Glogauer - Artist in Residence Programme

Artists from all artistic disciplines (installation, video art, net.art, sculpture, creative writing, architecture, electronic music, painting, drawing, performance, photography, etc.) are invited to send us a proposal.
Monthly costs for a GlogauAIR studio :
450 €/month - when sleeping in the Residence. The artist should sleep in their own workplace. A bed can be provided and there are showers and kitchen for general use.
400 €/month - not sleeping in the Residence. In that case we would help looking for an apartment in the area, where rooms cost around 300€ per month.
The price includes: studio, basic expenses (gas, electricity, maintenance), organizational work, open studios exhibition, taking part of the activities happening at the moment and at the annual catalogue with all other resident artists.
