Studio Projects 22/23 - Market Gallery, Glasgow

Market Gallery would like to invite applications from artists (working alone or
collaboratively) for Studio Projects 22 / 23. The successful applicants will have
24-hour access to one of the gallery's shop fronted spaces to use as a studio and
exhibition space and receive an artist fee of £400 and an additional £400 towards
material costs. The studio residency will last a total of 5 weeks followed by a
4 week exhibition.

Accommodation and living facilities are provided for invited artists or artists groups to complete a period of work culminating in a final exhibition in the adjacent exhibition space. Residencies vary in length and depend on the nature of the work; we feel between one and two months is a good duration. The length of the residency is agreed in advance. The resulting exhibitions which are open to the public, usually take place for 3-4 weeks.
Hotel Mariakapel is responsible for all mail-outs and promotional activity in relation to the shows, which include regional, national and international contacts.
The residency includes use of all facilities (private room, wireless internet, shared kitchen, washing machine / dryer, basic tools, some audio & video equipment). We can host 8 people in 4 bedrooms, you might be sharing a room.

Transart Institute offers the MFA Creative Practice, an international masters program for working artists with summer residencies in Berlin, winter residencies in New York and one-on-one advisement during two academic years - wherever students work and live.


Students are free to pursue work in any art-related genre and to create their own course of study, working independently and with the support of self-chosen studio and research advisors.Short periods of intensive residency permit students to continue with their professional work and keep a balanced personal life while participating in the program.

SOMA Summer-A summer art program in Mexico City

SOMA Summer is a unique six-week program for emerging visual artists imparted in English in Mexico City. SOMA Summer combines seminars with short workshops and individual critiques, as well as number of activities designed to promote intense creative work and artistic dialogue. The program focuses on providing discursive tools that will help participants contextualize their practice.
Soma Summer will introduce participants to the very dynamic art scene in Mexico City. Courses and critiques are offered by a selection of working Mexican and international artists and curators living in Mexico City as well as by a group of visiting cultural producers working on specific projects around town.

The Hungarian Multicultural Center, Inc.® (HMC), 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, invites interested visual artists, writers, performers to submit application for its residency program in Budapest, Hungary.

The residencies offer participants to interact with other artists representing a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Accepted applicants are expected to speak and understand English. Approximately 6 artists are invited for each session. The residence offers shared room/bath as living quarters. Studio, room, workshop, exhibition, seminar and gallery tour are included in the cost. For performers organize theaters.

Media artists and filmmakers are encouraged to apply for this 4-week International Artist-in-Residence program funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Residency is directed toward media makers who are interested in learning new technologies (film or digital) useful for their practice. Residency offers one month access to16mm production / post-production systems, film hand-processing facilities, Final Cut Pro editing suite, video/film cameras and equipment. Artist-in-Resident will receive accommodations, travel, and a $1000 artist’s stipend paid in two installments. The selected Artist-in-Resident must fulfill residency terms between September and November of the residency year.
