Die Juroren wählen nach qualitativen Kriterien die StipendiatInnen aus anhand eingesandter Kataloge, Fotos, Projektskizzen, Dias usw. (keine Originale).
Seit über 25 Jahren ist Schloss Ringenberg ein Ort individueller Arbeit für Bildende KünstlerInnen in ländlicher Umgebung, der Dank seiner Anbindung an die A3/A12 direkt mit den rheinischen und niederländischen Ballungszentren verbunden ist.

One of the founding ideas of Artists Unlimited was to integrate a guest studio into the house. A space in which an international artist could live and work for 3 months. We have had over 70 guests from around the world staying in the house.

The rooms for the guest artists are made up of a studio (40 m2) and an apartment (32 m2) with kitchen, washing machine and telephone. The house pays a grant of 550 Euro a month. We do not pay for travelling expenses.

One of the conditions of the residency is that every guest artist makes an exhibition in the Artists Unlimited gallery.

Residency Program: FAIR - for the Artists from Nordic and Baltic Regions

FAIR is an artist residency program, at The Factory for Art & Design, Copenhagen, Denmark, for artists from Nordic and Baltic regions.

The purpose of FAIR is to give an international artist the opportunity to work and realize a smaller project at The Factory. A smaller event or exhibition is organized during the residence. In the course of a year, 4 artists are invited here for a duration of 2 months each. The FAIR artist receives two monthly grants of 5000 DKK (approx. 670 euro) plus travel expenses to and from the home country, accommodation, a studio at The Factory and the loan of a bike.

Call for residency applications: Atlantic Center for the Arts

Each residency session includes three master artists of different disciplines. The master artists each personally select a group of associates - talented, emerging and midcareer artists - through an application process administered by ACA. During the residency, artists participate in informal sessions with their group, collaborate on projects, and work independently. The relaxed atmosphere and unstructured program provide considerable time for artistic regeneration and creation. Atlantic Center for the Arts provides housing (private room/bath with work desk), weekday meals (provided by ACA chef) and 24-hour access to shared studio space. Financial Aid is available to qualified applicants.

Hangar is a centre for arts production and research, set up by the Association of Visual Arts of Catalonia (AAVC) in 1997. It provides support facilities for artists and designers and offers services adapted to production needs associated with the arts world.

The centre is housed in refurbished industrial premises in the Poblenou neighbourhood of Barcelona.

In addition to its international exchange programme, Hangar also offers studios, production grants and a series of training workshops for artists.

The Center for Creative Photography invites proposals for the 2010 Ansel Adams Research Fellowship. This program is designed to promote and support research in the Center's photograph, archive, and library collections.

Ansel Adams Research Fellowships are awarded for projects that require an extended period of research in the collections of the Center. Awards in amounts up to $5000 will support two to four weeks of study at the Center. Multiple awards may be given depending on the applications received. Scholars at any point in their careers and from any discipline are encouraged to apply.

Elsewhere residencies invite creatives of all kinds to experiment with context, process, and collaboration within a former thrift store turned living museum. Residents endlessly compose and re-imagine Elsewhere’s environment—the first floor thrift store (two storefronts)—through creative and critical projects that respond to layers of objects, artworks, collections, architectures, histories, sites, concepts and collectivities.

Elsewhere residencies last from two to six weeks at any time during our season that runs from mid-March to early November. Visual Artists Support Stipend

Each year, Can Serrat offers a limited number of Support Stipends to visual artists and writers. The stipends cover 40% of the total cost (food, lodging and workspace) of stays lasting from 30 -90 days (the stipend cannot be combined with discounts mentioned in the pricelist).

During their stay at Can Serrat, each artist is asked to give an informal lecture concerning their work, open to the public in general. Each artist is asked to leave one piece of work made during the residency period as a donation to Can Serrat's permanent collection.
