ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM AT THE NORDIC ARTISTS' CENTRE DALSÅSEN
Professional artists, designers, architects and curators from all countries are eligible to apply for this residency.
There is one round of applications each year for the following year.
The selection is based on artistic merits and the quality of artistic practice.
Program is not available for students with the exception of final year students.
The residency at the Nordic Artists' Centre includes a monthly grant of 6700 NOK, living and working space, as well as covered travel expenses up to 5500 NOK. Artists' houses are fully equipped, studios are 50m², with a wireless internet access available in both houses and studios. Residency periods are 2 or 3 months.
Applicants from outside the Nordic region are expected to be fluent in English.

SFAI’s new summer undergraduate residency program offers a rare opportunity for graduate-quality experience in preparation for advanced study in the fine arts. Unique for its rigorous critique, individualized support, and engagement with internationally recognized artists, the residency is an eight-week intensive program specifically designed for undergraduate students or recent baccalaureate graduates to refine and complete a portfolio.
Students who pursue this residency must have significant studio experience and demonstrate a readiness for graduate-level work through their statement of intent, project proposal, and artwork. Throughout the residency, students will have access to individual studio space in the honors studios at SFAI’s historic 800 Chestnut Street campus, where they may work in a variety of mediums.
RESIDENCY INCLUDES:

also offers a range of lab facilities, a large pool of experienced
technicians and talent, a vibrant film community and a dynamic arts

The Vera List Center for Art and Politics invites applications for the 2011-2013 Vera List Center Fellowships. Two fellowships will be awarded, each spanning ten months and tied to the Vera List Center's focus theme for 2011-2013.
The Vera List Center Fellowships honor individuals whose work advances the discourse on art and politics. The fellowships provide the opportunity to further develop such work drawing from the resources of The New School, to expand on it in collaboration with students and classes, and to bring it to the public through the Vera List Center's interdisciplinary public programs.
