"Seemingly insignificant elements of every day life, like empty water bottles and ordinary SMS (text messages), are subject to a recycling process through narration and sound. In the end they are loaded with unforeseen meanings, a big bubble is ready to burst. The Berlin based artists Steffi Weismann and Barbara Loreck use portable technical devices such as mobile phones and loudspeakers directly attached to the body, to open up surprising perspectives regarding identity and self-construction. Both performances trigger a communicative situation between performer and audience."

Art exhibition or art interaction? Does the size of the screen match
the size of your expectations? Perfection on media means perfect
media? How many dpi has your eye? Remote control or just control? When
we met to discuss the concept of the Touch Me Project we found out it
would be better to put questions rather than answers. We also found
out that we wanted to create a game using old TV ́s as building blocks
and use them to show digital videos on analog screens. Every week
during a nine weeks span each artist will create a new TV-set-show in
several senses, a configuration and information of space. Streaming
images and pixels, painting the color of the room with electricity.
The game is open starting right now.

The more expressive and intuitive I tried the works to become the farther away they got from realistic representation. I found the nature and quality of paper, especially the vellum paper, to represent the frailty, vulnerability and the relative brief existence of the forms.
Line is the starting point. Everything else then follows - Guillermo Velasco.
