Untranslatable Words for the Stromereien 11 is the result of a 10 days track in June 2011 along the Limmat River, and interaction in public spaces in Zurich in which we collect untranslatable words from people who we meet. Our starting point for the track was at the origins of the Limmat River at the Tödi massive mountain, Lintthal region, along the river course and Zurich Lake until Zurich and continue till its meeting point with the Aare River in the “Wasserschloss of Switzerland” in Turgi.
Concept and artistic direction: Dovrat Meron / Concept production and & tracks plan: Knut Honsell / Video & Light: Catalina Fernandez / Guide and text: Hermann Weiss / Performance: Dovrat Meron, Nathalie Fari, Joel Wasem, Stefan Jud & Stefan Bolt / Graphic design: Heiko Honsell

You're invited to follow the amazing global art initiative 'FRAGILE - global performance chain journey' in which more than 750 artists from 62 countries are participating.
Can one fragile object, in times of email, chat and mobility, pass one time all around the world safely – from hand to hand, charging itself with stories and people? Will it be the same when it returns?
For the project, more than 750 artists from all over the world work together in one same action: all will carry one fragile object step by step around the planet.
The journey of the object and the works the artists will conceive during the project will be communicated on the website and in regular newsletters.
